Red foot tortoise shell rot?

Hello,

After checking my tortoise I've noticed two light blemishes on the dark part of her shell. Is this normal and does the bottom of her shell look healthy or is this something to be concerned about like shell rot? I do wet her substrate but it does dry up very quickly. I did take this photo after she was in the water dish and she did walk around so there are bits of substrate on her shell (I tried to wipe most of it off).

No, the white you see is the start of what's called Marbling. It's common with the Cherry heads. Even though yours is a northern, it's probably got some Cherry head blood somewhere down the line. The white will eventually spread and create a cool pattern. This is my Cherry heads Plastron.IMG_20200401_173301797.jpg

I can't say if that's marbling or not.
To me, they look like symmetrical scrapes from crawling over a sharp edged object.
However, we DO both agree that it is not a fungal issue.
And it's nothing to be concerned about
