Tortoise species clarification

Hello!
My cousin and his girlfriend found this little guy in their garden today. They think someone dumped him there because they no longer wanted him
I suspect he is a greek tortoise, can you please let me know if I’m right? Any other information you can work out from the photos would be greatly appreciated too.
I hope the photos aren’t too blurry as I’ve screenshotted them from a video.

Yes it is a Greek tortoise. There are a few different subspecies and I can’t tell the difference. Someone else will weigh in soon! Good looking tortoise!

I’m no expert, but it kinda looks like an Eastern Hermann’s to me. Hard to tell without seeing the plastron.

Either a Greek or herman, leaning towards Greek, plastron photo and one of his back legs would help. Either way care is very similar, feel free to check out these links

I can’t see any spurs on his back legs, so I’m thinking he’s a herman after all, I’ll see what others say, definitely a boy though lol
