Tortoise table question

I'm looking at building a tortoise table for a Greek Tortoise but wondering how high the front section should be.

I have a few sheets of plywood that are pre cut 30" x 30" so I was going to put 3 together to get 30" x 90". That comes out to about 18.75 square feet so not too bad of an area.

If I have enough plywood I will put it on the back and sides but I want to keep the front lower. But how tall do I need to keep the front edge so the tortoise doesn't climb out? I'm think 8"-10" should be high enough but wanted to confirm that.

I know with 2-3" of substrate plus the shell about 4-5" tall I don't think he would be able to see over a 8"-10" section and from what I have read these guys don't climb a lot.

You'd be shocked how high they can reach. I would go 12 inches higher than the top of the substrate, and cap the corners too.

Also, for an adult, something a bit larger would be better. I recommend 48x96", or roughly 32 square feet.
