Tortoises and colors

I was just wondering if anyones tortoise or tortoises has a color that they are more partial too. My leopard tortoise snowball like the color white. Whenever he sees something white he has to go look at it and try to eat it lol.

Yup, White. Which includes bird poop!!! I've gotta constantly watch him if he'd near concrete.

I haven't noticed a color Boulder likes, however he really doesn't like when my nails are painted purple. It seems to freak him out, weird, I know

Indy likes yellow. He'll zoom toward anything yellow and try to bite it, regardless of whether or not its edible.

I use to have a desert tort who really liked red. I made the mistake of wearing flipflops in his pen once while wearing red toenail polish. Never made that mistake again.

Ca Desert Tortoises here, they love red and yellow...and I will second the flip flop and painted toe nails...keep moving, don't take your eyes off of them or "chomp"....ooowwwwcccchhhh is for sure...

Vegas likes the colors orange and red he really goes after anything with those colors to include shoes..

My sully seems to be attracted to purple. It tries to eat my purple-colored nails all the time!

Tortoises see in full color, but a lot of their favorite foods are white, yellow, orange, red, and purple.

Yellows Purple...

If yours really goes after white.. put a cuttle bone in with him. He might need calcium..
