TSA Adoption

Hey guys,

I've officially been a member of the Star club for about a month or so. I received this beautiful little G. elegans as an adoption through the TSA. It is easier than ever for me to see why so many people love Stars so much. Their popularity does not come without good reason.

She (I hope it's a she) has not been very easy to photograph, so this is my first time putting any on the forum here.

I hope you guys like her. Nice to be part of the club!

You have a really nice Star, what did you name her?
I did not know there is a Star Club? Where can I find information on the Star Club? Is it with the TSA? Just curious what the adoption fee was too.

I may be wrong, but I think the "star club" is just the group of folks who own and love their stars, not an official club.

Yeah...they're a blast. I love working with the Indian Stars Joshua has. Really enjoyable tortoises.

I know! I actually missed out initially, but Cris contacted me later on, because one of his placements fell through. I must have just missed the cut off. They really do a good job at the TSA. Couldn't be more proud to be part of an organization!

Thank you! I didn't realize that she has some pretty vibrant markings, until I began to look at more and more hatchling and juvenile photos. Not the most high yellow out there, but I think she's pretty. And I must say, I was happy to see this thread come back up!

Well, one usually joins because it is a worthy project and you want to support them, not for what you can get out of it. But they do put out a nice magazine every so often.

Become member of Unofficial Star Club today. Got my little Star, however very tired. This one is nice.
