I intended to take a pic for the calender contest, but Chief decided to have a poop face today.

His eyes tell it all....he's simply adorable! No matter what face he poses, he's a winner!

Chief's one month pics. I'll post her next update at 3 or 6 months.

This is her with her one-month birthday cake. Its a pumpkin cube wrapped with a strand of grass and topped with a sprout.

(She didn't understand that it was food and never touched it, so I tossed it to Indy to devour.):D

I'm not sure if you can tell from the pic, but she's got a little slope on the back of her shell. I'm curious to see how this develops. Looks like she'll be more saddle-backed than domed.

Yeah. You saw Mom and Dad. They are the more typical type with the flatter back. I weighed her remaining siblings from that same batch yesterday and they are between 59 and 65.

Thanks for the update. She looks great!

Thanks Tom, I was wondering how Chief compared to her siblings in growth. Looks like they have very healthy appetites as well. Will you be holding any back from this batch?

I think the parents are gorgeous. I love seeing grown sullys with the sloped backs. Very hulk-ish.

Heres a glamour shot of Chief this morning before his afternoon soak. He's almost 2 months old and more than twice as heavy as the first pics I posted on this thread. I noticed his egg tooth his gone and he's starting to look more like a tiny adult and less like a hatchling. :D

They sure do grow big fast!

They do! I can't wait until he/she is big enough to live in the big-kid pen. I worry so much when they're tiny like this.
