Are WC torts/turtles more aggressive with other turtles/torts? I understand they can be aggressive/shy toward humans, but I'd imagine their territorial tendencies to be 'amplified'?

There would be many variables in play.....some torts/turtles are much more tenacious than others, even within the same species....
