Weight?

Hi, I have just weight my Herman Tortoise Valerie. In 9 month she has put on 140g. She is nearly 6 years old and now weights 375g. Does that sound OK? She is happy and eats well.

We would need to know her straight carapace length (SCL) to know if her weight is good.

I was wondering the same thing about my Hermann's

She's about 4 years old, is 6" long and weighs about 1.5 lbs (680g). Is this good? She eats like a pig.

She's within expected weight for her size nomylarballons. The average is 719g.

Monika that does sound like quite a lot of weight increase in a nine month period, but Danny will give you a proper answer when you get a chance to measure the tort.
