Weird shell marks

Hi guys I just got this baby box turtle from an ad he is very lively and seems healthy but his shell is a bit white or scared idk I wanna see if you guys can help me out

I love Florida box turtles! It just looks like scuff marks to me. Probably nothing to worry about. You can rub in some olive oil or something like that, just be sure to rub it in well and polish off the excess.

The guy told me it was an eastern but as soon as I saw it I knew it wasn't I thought it was an ornate box turtle but I haven't gotten a good look at it since I had to go to work as soon as I bought the little guy

After looking at the picture a pit better you guys are right it is a Florida box turtle he's so full of energy
