All sounds very normal to me. He may have just peed before you picked him up. Or been in the water within the last few minutes. Due to the high humidity in my babies enclosures when they walk through the water they stay wet underneath for quite a while.

My Daisy seems to eat a fair amount of stones too. I find pebbles in the soaking pan regularly. I use a large metal pan so I can really hear the stones clinking around when I pick up the pan to dump it.

If you are concerned enough to post about it, I'd keep an eye on it, but it sounds ok to me so far.
