Wheezing with no other symptoms

My 2 year old male hermanns has just started wheezing in the last couple days. He has no other symptoms other than the wheezing. He's active, eats lots, no swollen or puffy eyes, no discharge, and he's not breathing with his mouth open at all. Is this indicative of a respiratory infection or potentially something else?

I would raise the temp about 5 degrees above normal, like 85 and then wait to see what @Yvonne G has to say.

For about a week, I would leave the temp up, or u til the wheezing stops, I would also give a warm soak every day, but keep him warm.

Raise his temps, extra soaks as stated above, and watch for anything else to develop is exactly what i would do. Wheezing is usually a sign of an RI starting. Without any other symptoms though i wouldn't go to yhe vet.

How long do you normally soak your tortoise, how many times per week, and do you keep the water warm the entire time?

Please post pictures of your enclosure. We may have more suggestions once we see exactly what you are working with.

What substrate do you have?

What are your normal temps and humidity?
