I just got my hatchling a couple of days ago and have been soaking it once a day. Do I wait til the little guy is awake? I woke up at 10am today and just picked it up as it was sleeping to soak. I kinda feel bad to force it to soak when it's sleeping. Should I just wait til it wakes up if I can? Most days I have to go to work in the morning so I can either wake it up to soak or just do it after in the evening. Advice?

Doesn't matter. I do mine whenever it is convenient for me. I tend to like mid day after they've woken up and eaten, and then have time to bask and warm up before the lights go out at night.

I do mine in the morning before I go to work and set the lights to come on about an hour before then. Sometimes Walter is only partially booted up 😅 On weekends I'll let him sleep in

I soak AM and sometimes Speedy is asleep but soon raises his head. A warm shallow soak soon gets him active and the body functions operating 😂. He is returned to a warm enclosure with fresh water and food.
