I recently posted on here about advice on my tortoise and i got a couple of replies that were helpful, however i have popped back in to check today and it appears to have gone... was it not read worthy enough?? i find it annoying that it has been removed... unless i am looking in the wrong area , but i am sure i logged it in tortoise discussion.

We don't ever remove any threads. If the thread has a problem we might "close" it so that no one can post on it anymore, but they stay here in the archives forever. Try this: click on your name. That takes you to a window where you will see, "find all posts" click on that and every post you've made since you joined the forum will be listed. If you don't see it there, then let me know.

Dizzybird, occasionally we as mods will move (or I have moved) a thread because it is better suited in a different forum. But no thread is deleted and certainly we would never feel anyones thread is was "not read worthy enough." When I move a thread I do try and always send the author a PM letting them know it was moved. However sometimes circumstances are that I don't always get a PM out. Hope this help clear up any misunderstandings.
