I am very curious to know who's got the oldest Sulcata? [/font]
Thanks! No prize, I was just really curious.Missy said:Not me mine is 2yrs and about 7yrs but good question. Is there going to be a prize r the winner??
RevoltinglyYoung said:Apparently the Giza Zoo did, their sulcata lived to 54 years old and is apparently the oldest on record. : D
Tom said:Mine are only 12. I think the oldest ones you are likely to find here in the states are only going to be 20-25. I know a bunch of them this age. There were a few around before the mid-80's, but not many. They really only went "mainstream" in the early 90's. That's when I saw (and bought) my first CB babies.
Az tortoise compound said:This is the biggest, oldest Sulcata I have ever seen. Story was quite un believable. To make a long story short, he is supposedly 40+ years and no idea on weight. I bumped in to him while he was walking down the street with the owner. What do you think?? I bet at least 150-200lbs.
I am having hard time attaching photos. Too large of file. here is crappy one.
maybe this is better?
