Why are my sulcata tortoises growing so slow???

What are some popular grocery store items that will help implement protein in their diet? I just bought ZooMed pellets, and wanted to make a squash with other veggies that have protein.

Green beans have a pretty fair amount of protein. My tortoises used to devour them.

Also green peas, kale, alfalfa, broccoli, collard greens, bok choy, and watercress have good protein content.
