HI! I am new to this forum so hopefully I'm doing this right. I have 3.5 Redfoots & 1 baby. I have had reptiles my whole life but have always lived in SW FL where the weather never really gets cold enough to worry about keeping them warm. I moved to GA, close to Athens, last year & brought my herd of course. Last winter i put the Torts in our garage, which is not heated, & heated it with small portable heaters, which ended up costing me an arm & a leg on my heating bill. This year I would like to build a heated enclosure in their pen, which is outdoors, for the winter. Would this be alright for them? It can get pretty cold here & even snowed last year. I just don't know how to go about it. Heat pads? Lamps? Ceramic bulbs? There are 8 adults Torts so I need plenty of room too I guess. Any info would be greatly appreciated. :)
