Wood that is tortoise safe???

Hi everyone!!!
I am currently building an indoor table/enclosure for Frankie, my russian tort, and was wondering if anyone had any good wood suggestions that is not toxic to tortoises. I am planning on lining the bottom and stapling it to the sides too. Any other helpful tips is appreciated!!!

Greetings. In reality, most wood is safe. Ok, maybe don’t use highly scented wood like redwood, etc, but most general contracting wood like pine is safe to use!

Just a hint, check Craigslist for free and cheap furniture that you can repurpose . You can use a tarp to line in and make the substrate deep for you digger!

Regular plywood and 2x4s will be good.
