Bruce our 5 year old marginated normally has a great appetite, but the last few weeks - probably due to our terrible summer here in the UK, with it being damp and around 15-20C at best in July, he's been off his food generally, just having small bits, pacing around or sat still and yapping a lot as if he wants to eat. He's not any signs of a cold or anything like that, but seems to want to go to bed a lot. It may be he thinks its the onset of autumn already. We've brought him in on cold wet days and put him in an indoor pen with UVA/UVB lights but this may be confusing to him. My gut is he just prefers being outdoors whatever the weather. Last summer he was eating so much more than he has this time so I'm getting concerned with the cooler months ahead and hibernation. Maybe it's just him slowing down naturally as the weather is so poor?
