I hope any TT friends in Manchester UK are alright as they had a mini-tornado.

Made a real mess of some houses didn't it? I hope your friends were OK. I'm fed up of the persistent rain and high winds now - it's been going on for weeks with little respite in between storms. Time for some calm weather to start the New Year I think.

Was wondering what happened to Ray....he turned into The Santa Claus!

We dropped off gifts for my 2 Pharmacists on the way to talk with another finance-guy. We just got back to the Nook but look what we did along the way! We stopped at the courthouse for a license!

What a lovely end to the year. Does that mean you've actually tied the knot now? I'm not sure how it works in the US. Congratulations to you and Kerry if you are Mr and Mrs now, and I wish you every happiness for the future.

Good morning/afternoon all on this last day of 2023.
As the song says 'The weather outside is frightful.......' still! We need webbed feet!
Lola is in winter mode and spends a lot of time in his cosy hide but because the temps have been higher than usual, he has occasionally ventured out for a quick peep at the garden.
I had a lovely Xmas day with family and little Isaac is very funny and into everything now but still a little too young to appreciate what all the fuss is about. He can't say Lyn yet so like all my nephews and nieces over the years he calls me Ninny. I hope your Xmas days were just how you wanted them.
My nephew who lives near me is coming to my house this evening for supper and to welcome in the New Year. I didn't think he'd come this year as he has far more tv channels than me, but he obviously can't resist my cooking!!;) (It's only pizza so can't go too wrong - although I have been known to burn them in the past).
Anyway I hope you all have a lovely evening whatever your doing or not doing, but above all I wish you a very happy and healthy 2024!

Good evening everyone!

Yvonne says that she can't find my thread and that someone may have deleted it thinking it was spam. I asked whether TT has a deleted section but I don't expect to go through all that and I have got other threads.

Natrah
No, what I said was because of all the pages and pages of spam each morning maybe the Jack and Daisy thread was deleted BY MISTAKE along with those pages. I couldn't find it anywhere. Sorry.

Dear Yvonne,

It's okay because @jaizei found it in an archive and I can still read it so I'll continue with the new one.

Thanks again

Natrah

Good morning all.
The high winds have calmed down for a while and it was nice to wake up to a dry morning, but it won't last long - more heavy showers on the way for most of the day.:(

So here we are in 2024! I must get a new calendar - I was hoping Santa would bring me one but he must have forgotten.
I can't believe it will be 10 years in July that Lola adopted me and although I was reluctant to keep him to start with I wouldn't be without him now. It's taken that long for him to allow me to touch his head, even if he is still wary. He does tolerate me in his space now but only for short spells, but that's the way it should be.
I hope you have a good first day of the year and I'll see you later. TTFN

I must run in the wrong circles now. Kerry & I went over to friends for a nice dinner and a football game on TV. We didn't watch any of the shows.
The girls chatted in the kitchen while the men solved all the worlds problems...you know, normal stuff.
They we all went home at 8pm. LOL

Good morning all.
We have yet another storm hitting us today - Storm Henk - with amber warnings for high winds. The amount of rain we've had since last summer is incredible and while I do like to see the rain - you can have too much of a good thing! Thankfully no floods on my area but the ground is really saturated.
Not many plans for today other than to stay dry, so just pottering around the house. Lola has just surfaced so he's going to have a nice soak in a short while.
I hope you all have a good Tuesday. TTFN

Dear Lyn,

Yes I think you're in London aren't you? I'm not too far away in Westcliff but I have had to walk to Southend in the rain to do some shopping. Personally I think the New Year's Day dippers who I saw along the seafront are mad. I wouldn't to take a dip in this weather nevermind the Thames!
