Good evening everyone!

The concert went very well but I saw a double rainbow between the rehearsal and the concert and I can only think that Daisy was looking down on me.

Goodnight everyone

Good evening everyone!

I hope you're all okay. I am very very tired after yesterday but I am pleased to see that PeeWee (@MenagerieGrl) is more active. How are Dickie, Sherman and Sapphire (@Cathie G)? I bet Zola saw the sea today. I had lunch at my local theatre and the sea looked pristine. I think I saw a flock of Turnstones but they had to keep their wits about them because they prefer the shoreline. Jacky's temperature is now 7 - 9 degrees Celsius.

Goodnight everyone

Dear Natrah - my mum is very tired today, after a bad night - nothing serious, though - but she hopes you are well, and sends her love to you and her forum friends

Good evening everyone!

I hope you're mum's okay Zola. My cold is almost gone but it kept me awake last night and I could hear the neighbours. However I think that the noise that I heard at 2.30 am sounded like something had dropped accidentally. Anyway I am going to try and move Jacky into the pet carrier on Thursday night because I found that the fridges leaked a little bit due to it being to warm. I had to turn it back down to 6 - 8 degrees Celsius but I may be able to adjust it slightly on Thursday. I am going to move her at night when dark and cooler. She has no heating in that room and she is next to a window so she can adjust before I put her in the enclosure. I have decided to wait until she is more fully awake before I put her in the enclosure which may allow her to get acquainted with the mop and scales again 🤣!

Sounds like a good plan. Dickie has been out in the garden last couple of days then brought indoors later. She chooses when to venture out. So far she hasnt eaten any of the food given to her, we don’t know if she’s had anything in the garden but she has done 3 wee’s so far that we know of. Pete gives her a warm bath every few days.
Our garden is drying up a bit but still no grass on the lower half. Hopefully we’ll have some more sunshine to help that.
Glad your cold is nearly gone. The after effects can last a while though. Pete is mostly ok now, the GP has arranged for him to have a full blood test as he hasn’t had one for 20 years or so!
Sorry you still hear some disturbance at night. Don’t they have jobs to go to in the mornings? Perhaps when you feel more up to it you can start looking round to see what other accommodation is out there.
The house sale here is dragging on a bit. Beware of what estate agents tell you, it’s not always entirely accurate!

Dea Natrah - I'm writing again for my mum, as she has a really bad headache, and I have been wearing her out with my activities in my conservatory. But in a few weeks, she may be able to try the new headache pill, so the nurse says, and she is looking forward to that ! Don't worry about her - my dad and I try to look after her.
Lots of love from Zola and my mum - it will be lovely to see Jacky again ! xxxxxx

Hello Natrah - Zola had a walk along the breakwater today when his dad took him out this afternoon. He really enjoyed it - the first time he has been this year- he was cold when he came back, but I sat by the fire with him,and made a sort of tent with my fleece to partly cover him - and breathed warm breath into it as well - he had warmed up pretty well by the time Richard had cooked supper and he had to go back to his lamp.
This morning I did a very stupid thing, and managed to trip on the step going down from our kitchen to the utility room - I bashed the side of my head, near my eye, and have a large black swelling there now ! But at least I managed to get up on my own, and to put the washing on ! I was hoping I wouldn't need to tell Richard, but the bruise got too noticeable very quickly ! I put arnica on, and it doesn't hurt too much now, but i'm a bit extra shaky !
Love to you, Jacky and Angel Daisy, and all our TFO friends from Zola and me (Angie)xxxxx

Poor you. I know how you feel. I get so mad at myself for those kinds of accidents. The other day I almost stabbed myself in the eye (just missed) with my thumb nail. I don't even know how I pulled that stupid trick. My balance etc isn't the same is my only excuse. I have reverted back to my childhood and I have these crazy accidents that only I can do 😭 I hate it when my beloved family members have to be concerned and feel bad for me though. 🤗🙏❤️To you.

Thanks, Cathie - like you, I really feel stupid, and upset because Richard gets upset too. He is so kind, and tries to forsee whatever silly thing I might do, and then I get annoyed with him for fussing - but since there is only him to look out for me, I am grateful really. I do so resent getting old !!!

Good evening everyone!

Angie I hope you feel better soon. Try rubbing ginger against your bruise and it should start to go down. This is something that mum learnt to do in Malaysia. If you feel sick or nauseous you should go to A and E. Anyway I have just transferred Jacky from the fridge to the pet carrier and she moved a bit. She is sleeping on a metal tray and she should wake up naturally now.

Goodnight everyone

Oh no Angie i’m sorry to read of your trip down the steps & hope the bruising & swelling soon goes down.
I remember as a child we always rubbed butter on to bruises. I can’t remember if it helped or not!

It probably did because mom rubbed it on and then gave it a little kiss.😊

🤣🤣 How are Dickie, Sherman and Sapphire?

Natrah
Dickie goes out in the garden on sunny days for a little while other than that she plods round the kitchen or stays in her box. Pete hasn’t seen Sherman yet but I’ll let you know when he does.
I reckon they will be wanting the gate doing soon so that will get Sherman’s attention 😁
