Hey! Ive been there,!
Good evening everyone!
It is raining here but I hope Lyn is okay because she has a severe weather warning. Our weather warning is yellow and I believe Angie's is amber. We are having to endure Storm Darragh.

We now have a red weather warning for rain and winds of 70 mph from about 2 a.m.! I've never experienced winds that strong.
I have torches charged ready for action if necessary - power cuts are a real possibility. I don't have a generator so I'll have to use hot water bottles for him if the power is affected. I also have a calor gas heater, so at least we'll have a warm room. I won't be sleeping much tonight.

Have you had warnings on your phone? Some people have had this. Below are some photos that I took today but you wouldn't believe it now. I usually pray for a peaceful night from the night from the neighbours but that's a different story.

Don't like the sound of that temperature.Last year I got all my cards out early and presents ready early and they still arrived whenever USPS decided. Or the donkey method. So bah humbug here tooI'm late getting anything done but even if I was early it'll all get done when USPS decides to deliver it. So I think I'll send out Christmas cards with have a happy day on them. We'll see. I haven't poked my head out the door enough to do anything. It's freezing here.
And nothing wrong with the donkey method!

I get flown around like a piece of toily paper.
Yes, plenty of warnings and flood alerts again, but it's the wind I worry about.
I'm not going to bed tonight. The gusts are quite frightening.
I took Alfie out for a little walk before the winds got too strong so hopefully he'll be ok for the night. I'm not going out again in that - sounds like all sorts flying around - hopefully not my roof!!
Latest from met office says 72 mph expected about 2 am, but 60 + going to be with us until Monday
Those winds took a bit of a break here..only 20mph and 25F. We went to the Dickens Christmas in our little town to meet friends. A lot of neat stuff to look at.
