Good evening everyone!

I am off to Oxford tomorrow and when I come back the noisy drug-dealing neighbours should be gone. Jacky is with my friend who has a vegetable patch🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. The last time Jacky and Daisy stayed there. Daisy led Jacky to the vegetable patch where they thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

I had a difficult awakening last night, I'm still suffering the emotional fallout.

It is a sad day indeed when you realize that you and the "Help, I've fallen and I can't get up" lady look about the same age.

I'm devastated but I'm going to put on my happy face and move on....

Enjoy the day guys!

Come on gals....haven't ANY of you ever seen the Life Alert TV commercials?

"Help, I've fallen and I can't get up"

Those old people USED to be older than me....
Not seen that one over here, but I obviously got hold of the wrong end of the stick and thought you'd had a fall. Sorry Jeff! 😄

Me too. And I've seen the commercial that's why I thought he fell down the hill and broke his head 😭 especially since it would be me tumbling after 😉

Good morning all.
It's warm here but we've had some showers - usual UK summer weather I suppose.
My neighbours are going away today ,🥳🎉🤸so I'm really looking forward to the peace and quiet, I'm hoping it's for 2 weeks but I'll be grateful for one. I'll just be glad of the chance to get out and cut some of my taller shrubs without comments from them.
I'm going to have a look at cars later, I need something reliable now. The local buses are fine, but the routes are limited, so I'm a bit restricted. At the moment I'm considering a Renault Clio, but that could change - knowing me and my inability to make decisions.,🙄 😄. All I know is that I want a small car that works!

Have a good day. TTFN

My dad used to have the Renault Clio 2019 a few years back, I found it to have the perfect amount of analog switches compared to many modern cars (I am old fashioned that way). It was too small for his use case, as he had a large dog back then and did a lot of long car trips and ended up switching to a Renault Megane later on. Now he is onto a even bigger car, a Volkswagen Passat and on top of road trips and camping, he has taken on Sup boarding as well...

As for small cars, he currently has a second vehicle, Hyundai Getz 2006 that he bought to teach my little sister to drive a manual. He calls it a shopping bag 😅

A couple of weeks ago - July 8th, to be precise, it was Zola's 25th birthday -mine too, but rather more years!
We took him to Torquay, a seaside resort in Devon (UK), and he enjoyed it very much, especially being wished a Happy Birthday by a great many people. When I was going through his photos, I thought some of them were rather good, and that people here would maybe like to see them too !
The Big Wheel wasn't working that day, but we took Zola on it during a previous expedition, and he seemed to like it,looking out high over the town.

Happy Birthday Zola!

Hope all had a good one. I took my daughter & her boyfriend to the shooting range& while I was gone Kerry wanted to go to the store and couldn't find her keys. My Kerry is adhd.....bad....which makes her get a little whack when she looses something. So...let me try to engross you into her world for a moment. She began looking for her keys at 9am...she checked the house room by room when they weren't to be found in our "keypot". Then she checked her car without the key reasoning that if her key was in the car, it would be unlocked. Then she got the backup key and moved her car in case it was underneath and somehow out of range of the sensor. Then she checked all the chairs and sofa, behind the cushions in the TV room. Then she put the car back and ran inside to stop the washing machine to check the pockets of the clothes she had put in the laundry. Then she retraced all of those initial spots while checking new ones. I got home around 11 driving my truck and she had just gotten home after using the backup key to drive to the store and she prayed that somehow I had them so I walked in the door and she asked "do you have my car keys?"
"I don't think so"...as my hand slid into my front pocket...."oh here there are"

poor poor girl huh?
