I LIKE THIS HABIT

This female Ornata buries herself like this all the time. Doesn't she look grumpy? None of my other box turtles do this to her extent. I also wanted to show one of my outside box turtle habitats. It is for 3 of my females. Because of raccoons and coyotes in my yard nightly, I bring all my animals in at night, 'cept Bob, he's locked in his shed at night with Queenie...oh look...you can barely see Queenie's carapace in this second photo too.

That is Queenie she's half Hermanni and half Boettgeri. I made a thread on her so HermanniChris could look at her and we talked about her. Obviously under the Hermanni forum...
