They look great Angela! :)
I'm sure they will be so happy with you.
Congrats.
Have you come to any conclusions on the maybe blind one?
How are they eating?

Thanks fun and nice comments...and thank you Skyler:D
Well I believe the littlest one is an air biter at present...so will be taking more time making sure food hits the food hole LOL, hoping that the little one eventually gets her own rythm--i have faith, and if not it is alright...everyone likes company at chow time ..and she is opening the eye although a little teary ..I don't believe she is blind as if I approach she tucks in and then brings her head back out and tracks me when I move...
Now ole Brutus :D is absolutely the aggressive one...he does alot of pestering and bullying ...so today after I pick up my son I will be setting up a space for the little one....(I reference the little one as she but don't know yet)

The bigger one just scarfed down a chunk of watermelon, a whole mushroom, a slice of plum, slice of kiwi and some dandelion greens...they both had a long soak yesterday and drank lots...especially the little one...and outside time...today both soaked and are outside right now while I watch them from the porch..
I think the weirdest thing to me is slicing up all the yummy fruits and mushroom f
or them...and it not a treat...LOL..so many years of regulating CDT diet and they are so different...lots of fun...

I'm glad they are doing good :)
Yeah I always referred to brutus as a boy and stevie as a girl. I don't know why, It just seems to suit them lol. Yeah little one really enjoys mazuri. I didn't feed it a lot but that seemed to be her fave :tort:

Skyler....will keep ya posted as time goes on to whether they are male/female....I do not know how to tell male from female on these ones.... I think that they may be a bit small in size still to tell??

I don't use Mazuri...not that I have anything against it, just never had the need as of yet to try it out, we will see if the little one continues to sample all of what I offer her and see if she acquires a taste for the offerings and if not, then I will try some of the mazuri..

Thanks for all the kind words, this will be a fun journey with these ones, although they are tortoise, the differences between them and the CDTs is absolutely there....fun stuff....I had to walk out the front door past my old man Humphry with the watermelon ...so silly of me I know but, I turned my back so he would not see me walking to the other side of the porch to give it to the little ones...LOL He would be devastated.... :p
