I see, thank youYou would also need to create a visual barrier all the way around the bottom of it.
By the time you add a floor and a visual barrier, and put it up on legs to get it off the floor, it seems like it would be much simpler, cheaper and easier to just build your own enclosure by putting walls and legs on a 4x8 sheet of plywood.
Okay, what about this garden bed if I remove the metal stuff and add a floor and shaded area with plywood? What are the dimensions? How would you make a floor for it? Your tortoise shouldn't be on the floor.
You would hang the lighting from the ceiling.
That could be made to work. Is it 4x8 feet?Okay, what about this garden bed if I remove the metal stuff and add a floor and shaded area with plywood?
The description says it is 4x8 yes. My dad's friend also offered to help and she's really handyThat could be made to work. Is it 4x8 feet?
Will having an open top invite roaches? That could be made to work. Is it 4x8 feet?
If you have roaches in your house, any warm damp enclosure will invite them. Will having an open top invite roaches?
Makes sense, we get them sometimes. I'll try to prevent them from getting in the enclosureIf you have roaches in your house, any warm damp enclosure will invite them.
Its not a big deal if they do get in. They are harmless detrivores in spite of our universal worldwide disgust with them. They can't hurt you or your tortoise.Makes sense, we get them sometimes. I'll try to prevent them from getting in the enclosure
True. Mostly for my sake lolIts not a big deal if they do get in. They are harmless detrivores in spite of our universal worldwide disgust with them. They can't hurt you or your tortoise.
