I have a Russian tort named Doug and we've been together for a year or so. She's a healthy little gal and I love her. I grow all of her food and soak her often.
Anyway, I saw a hingeback tort today and I fell in love right away. I'm just curious about how hard they are to take care of. I did some research and they seem a little more complex than the Russians. Like them being omnivores. Is this an an accurate statement? Could you guys give me some advice on it? Is there a different type of tort that's a little more advanced you'd recommend first?
Thank you!
