This is a video of my baby Redfoot tortoise pen. I keep my babies outdoors from a very small size in this protective cage. I'm often asked how I'm able to keep them outside safely. And this is what I use.
It is currently my hospital enclosure since I no longer keep babies

Cool! Given that you are in FL, how do you keep it from getting too hot with that glass (or plastic??) top? Do you normally have things planted for cover?

can UV rays go through that glass/plexi?
No
I used (use) a separate outdoor area for light exposure a few times a week. Or if I'm lazy I can just open the many lids for an hour or two.
This is just a secured general enclosure. It receives a lot of indirect sunlight. Something that Redfoot prefer.
