Last year I bought a little SA leopard hatchling from @ben awes . The baby's name is BenAwes, naturally! I thought I'd put up a picture of it so Ben can see how nicely the baby is growing. First I'll put up a picture when I first got the baby:

That was taken in January, this year. Now here's what BenAwes looks like today, ten months later:

I can't get over how easy it is to grow the SA leopards smoothly.

He's got dried poop on his carapace...that's what the discoloration is at the front there. I've never had to turn him back right side up, so I can only assume he was able to right himself on his own. Unless a big bird flew by and pooped on him.

I use the fine grade orchid bark. For babies I usually mix in a little potting soil, but I can't remember if I did for this one or not.

It's hard to imagine that Lola was once that small, very cute!

Wow yvonne. Nice looking fella. Im kind of jealous. I would love to get a pardalis pardalis herd going.

Hopefully BenAwes is female - it has an extra scute. That means I have 1.2 SA leopards!!
