Except in rare cases its only cosmetic. Just house and care for them the right way and don't worry too much about it. Learn what you can and try to raise the next one smoother.

Sometimes i did put it outside for 30mins to 1hour. But it seem that my tortoise dont like the sunlight. It will find a place to hide. What should I do? Can u gv me some advices? thanks
I don't keep stars, so I'm not a good person to give you answers on their care, however, here is a link to a site that looks like it has all the information you're looking for:
hi, i do keep a few star .if you do keep your star indoor ,pls put light to them also cos if not your star can get sick like running nose.by the way i stay in malaysia too(miri).
If you indoor temperatures are already in the range of the care sheet, than you don't want to make it too hot, as that causes problems as does being too cold. A tortoise does need UVB though, from either a bulb or the sun. A couple hours most days of the week outside when it is at an ideal temperature for them is the best idea. A humid substrate (damp but not wet) can help any new growth be smoother. When you put a tortoise outside, it should have a hide (this will help it feel more secure), water, and a secure enclosure (not the run of the entire yard which is 10 times the size of its indoor enclosure for example). Once the tortoise is used to the area (take them to the same outdoor enclosure each time), they will venture out more. Avoid sudden movements around the tort and they will also get to know you as their "food god"! If the outdoor enclosure isn't completely fenced and wired in, you should stay within line of sight to keep your tort safe from predators. Don't let them graze in areas where chemicals are used on the grass. When you live in a very warm climate, you need to be more creative with the outdoor sun time such as at sunrise or sunset to keep your tort the ideal temperature. Similar to those of us who live in cold climates would tend to take our torts out at midday.
