No jeff, not the Ringpop! Of course I did that....then my son passed me her ring...

And here we go!
I was floored when she entered the room, absolutely floored.

My friend that owns the Motorcycle shop, closed his business to come!

The place was fantastic, the folks really catered to our friends& family.

You see........we did something a little different for our wedding

....we threw a party FOR our family& friends. We were able to rent the building with 6 luxurious rooms, import 20 fam and friends to stay for 2 nights there and at our home...then 25 at the ceremony and another 42 for the 4 hrs open house that ended up extending till 11pm when the boys got the guitar out. We fed everyone with Jenns (the manager) cooking...she made everything but the cakes!

This was a superman-wonder woman worthy cool thing to do! We did all this....in a magnificent Revolutionary setting for only 6k. I could have spent half that for just a photographer so this was cheap!

When we told the Inn what we wanted to do for everyone. Well, even the owner came out!
gcxmwxie.hdl.jpeg

Ironically, Craig who was Kerry's cousin's new boyfriend was the first fam member I met when Kerry and I began dating. We met at a "Bobcat" Goldthwait show in DC where a 3rd cousin was opening for him.
12 years ago to the day.....(Kristens socials popped up the event telling her)..during our wedding! We went to their wedding 9 yrs ago.

I can't begin to tell you guys how cool this was....

As an aside...i felt a presence in the room we married...every time I walked in there all weekend! 100% positive vibes but the strongest presence I have ever felt in ANY place in my life. It was pretty amazing...the tingling....goosebumps...really strong! Very cool....it felt like "more than one" and it felt like they were very happy we were there.

So, how's bout them apples? I married wonder woman.....wow!

Good afternoon/evening all.
We've had a cold but sunny day here, and I was able to potter in the garden - lots of spring flowers making an appearance now. Even Lola wandered out to have a look at his garden but he didn't stay too long before heading back to the warmth of his hide.
Lovely to see Mr and Mrs Jeff's wedding pics, sounds like a great time was had by all!
I hope everyone's week is going well so far.

Thanks so much guys.....the many-cakes idea was all Kerry's. We had 4 of them left over that Kerry took to school yesterday......that wasn't fair to the cakes....Teachers are like piranha on cake! LOL

Wedding sand...

We finished it after we got home...so the drive didn't cause them to mix.
This was also Kerry's idea...she has good ideas mostly....

A "wedding" to me is all about what the Bride wants....it's a girls party that the men stand in and play their part for but like the male hyena, he is ranked lower than even a non-ranked female at the wedding. This was most evident when immediately after I kissed my bride, the toasts began and after her daughter and son began speaking at the same time....she told her brother..."You can give your toast, right after I do mine" and she's the passive one! The room cracked up!

To know this ahead of time sure made it easy for me this time! Superman knows where to dominate and where to blend in like clark kent.

Our nice-lawn retired neighbor was outside when we got home Monday and we thanked him for coming...he invited me to play penny poker with his friends at the Elk club of Fridays. LOL, I'm being invited into the old guys club!

Good morning/afternoon/evening all,
It's been another lovely, chilly and sunny day here again. I even managed to dry a line of washing outside - first time this year.
Lola came out and grazed for a short while. I found a few new dandy leaves and he was happy with those too - a promise of things to come.

I've ordered a sim card for my new phone so hopefully it should all be up and running soon. It even talks to me! I asked it how old I was and it answered correctly which I think is very creepy as I haven't filled in my DoB anywhere on the phone yet!! Very weird.o_O
I hope you're all having a good day too.
See you later

You can turn off that part if you like. I do however like the caller name announcer app I have on my phone. I have it set up to announce texts and phone calls from my contacts only. It would for emails too but I don't really need that. If they're not in my contacts it'll say you have a message from an unknown number.😊

Dear Jeff -thank you so much for explaining about the wedding sand -thats a great idea ! I had been wondering if you threw it like confetti, or if you wrote your names with it on the ground !

Good afternoon/evening all,
My new phone continues to give me a headache! Although in fairness it's not the phone but the SIM provider - O2.
The new sim arrived today so I signed into my account to swap the temp number for my old one.
Supposed to be easy - just needed to text on my old phone to get a code (PAC). 🤣

Text didn't work - free phone number they gave me was disconnected, robots on the O2 website couldn't help, I couldn't use a QR code to get to an advisor and no email address given. So I was on the landline phone for almost an hour and a half in total. They did eventually send me a PAC but it was for the wrong number! 😡

I now have to wait until Monday to see if that code will be cancelled so that I can start again and if not I have to continue waiting while they request it's cancelled. What a shambles they are!!!

Meanwhile my old number has been discontinued so no one can contact me on that. 🤬

I did find an email address for O2 complaints so they've had both barrels of my frustration!!!!
I wish I'd stuck with my old phone and just changed the battery!
Hopefully things can only get better.

I hope your Thursday is going much more smoothly than mine.

That's the kind of stuff that went on when I was just trying to change my password to my favorite email. If I knew how to cuss them out I would at this point 😭 the email still isn't fixed and now I don't care.🤗🙏 to you that you get a phone you like soon.
