The 5th day in a row. We have not had any sun. That is unusual for Florida unless we have a hurricane coming in. With 50° and raining, Opo hasn't been out in 4 days. That has never happened before. Ms.Sully will come out around 2 or 3. Do a little grazing and I give her a little snack. We are still getting to be friends. She will let me rub her head and neck. If I move to quickly she is still jittery.
I used to hate it when Florida had those days. The sky is always such a beautiful blue and sunny. With white fluffy clouds. Maybe Opo feels the same as me. No sunny blue sky makes me feel like hiding in a hole too.

Good morning all.
It's very wet here and the wind is picking up. We and the wildlife could probably do with the rain as January has been pretty dry, but I don't like the strong winds especially when they last for days.
I hope you're all keeping warm and coping with whatever the weather is throwing at you.
I'm busy sorting out my paperwork and going through some bank statements because I found an email in an old account which had an invoice attached from a hotel I've never been to. I haven't opened it in case it's a scam, but I'm hoping it's a mistake and that there's no charges made to my account or any other nasty surprises. You never know these days. 😟
TTFN and happy Thursday.
Don't open it. Just call the hotel if it worries you. Or your account. Never the email because it probably is a scam. But if someone has done this they are who you need to talk to not the scammer.

You don't touch it Lyn. I cannot tell you how many old family members scammed here by that ploy. Kerry's Dad, her Aunt and a friend of hers who lives in Fla now. All got suckered....

If you really owe something, the debtor will let you know! LOL

Dear Lyn,

I hope you're okay in Storm Eowyn.

MaNaAk
Very windy here Natrah but at least it's dry for now. We've had yellow warnings for rain and wind as well as a local flood warning, but the river doesn't look too bad at the moment. The main risk comes when trees are blown over and get stuck under bridges. I think the north of the UK is being most badly affected. Tomorrow will be quieter before it returns on Sunday/Monday. I hope it's ok in your area.

Good morning all.
Strong winds and heavy rain are with us again for the next couple of days - not very pleasant at all. Ireland and Scotland have a lot of damage to sort out after Storm Eowyn. Some parts recorded winds of 100 mph. Thankfully ours shouldn't be higher than 50 but still worrying.
I won't be venturing far today.
I hope you all have a good Sunday.

The new storm is called Herminia, and just heard that the south west has been badly hit with 83 mph winds causing damage and power cuts, so I hope Angie's ok.

Thank you Lyn for thinking of us - we have been lucky enough to avoid any serious problems so far, but the lights have been flickering, and I'm worried about a power cut, as the previous one we had recently lasted 3 days and nights, and it was really horrible. I had Zola tucked next to my skin a lot of the time to keep him warm, which he didn't seem to mind, and we drove around in the car with the heating on quite a bit, but I had never experienced a long power cut like that before - and I hope I never do again !
I hope all is well with you.
Angie x

We have been so cold here that I had to sacrifice humidity for Sapphire being warm enough. I've never had to do that before in the 20 years I've been in this house. I had to run an oil filled heater and leave his door open for the furnace to help. Even with humidifiers running I couldn't get his humidity above 20%. Without electricity would have been even worse. But thank God it stayed on 😊

We finally got warmer temperatures m ps, I feel for you MS Cathie.

We have company today to watch football. We saw him walk up to the window and begin watching, get disgusted at how the skins are playing and turned around.

He's the little loner. Not sure he's going to make it.
To contrast, here is a healthy deer:

We've got a warming trend starting yeah 👍 lol looks like you got chosen by a little herd. Please don't turn your back on them though. The males will sweep you off your feet even when they like you at certain times. I learned that the hard way.😊

Good to hear you're ok Angie, and I really hope your power stays on.
We're ok here at the moment but I do have a calor gas heater handy just in case. Take care.

Is there an animal sanctuary you can contact to give him more of a chance?
