We had some snow the they before yesterday!A long range weather forecast I looked at says we'll have snow on 28th April. I'm not going to put any money on it though.
Be careful on those skates Cathie!

Strange! As Lyn will probably confirm we've got unseasonably warm weather here!Once again we have dark clouds and probably storms on the way.but We might even have snow flakes tomorrow. It's been raining cats and dogs here for several days and theres flooding. And mother nature is flipping out so we'll be ice skating tomorrow . That's spring in Ohio. I've seen it snow in May. We'll see.

Paradise! I noticed something on Google about a tornado in Arkansas. I hope our members there are okay.MS Cathie is getting slammed out there. Very bad storms.
We met a lovely couple from Manchester yesterday. They had been here in Negril for 2 full weeks. 2 days of total sunshine!
They were still chuffed (as my UK friends say) with their trip.
Yikes, maybe I should have looked at the weather first? We don't mind it. It was beautiful all morning and monsoon type rain for a few hours in the afternoon.
Kerry went to save our spot on the beach while I soak here to wake up....dang I'm sore this morning.View attachment 389393
I'm not betting either way. It's for sure I'll lose. Mother nature has it in for me. It's no wonder the way I bad mouth herA long range weather forecast I looked at says we'll have snow on 28th April. I'm not going to put any money on it though.

Do you use a hydrocortisone cream Edward's Servant? Hope you're okay.We are supposed to get snow on Friday and Saturday.
I am starting to get a rash on my hands, as I get every spring when I start wearing cloves less. This is because I have polymorphic light eruption triggered by the UV rays. Was kinda hoping I wouldn't get it this year since it usually starts earlier.
Yes, but haven't gone to the pharmacy yet. I wonder if the one from last year is still fine to use.Do you use a hydrocortisone cream Edward's Servant? Hope you're okay.

There should be a Use By date on the tube and the box - I'm so sorry about your rash - I get allergic rashes, but I never realise I'm allergic to something until it's too late ! Be really careful about handling Edward, though, if you have any trace of the cream on your hands, won't you.It would be best to wear plastic gloves, if he doesn't object !Yes, but haven't gone to the pharmacy yet. I would use it, anyway, until you can conveniently get a new tube - I think the makers are just protecting themselves, as there are probably some things that don't keep well, but I don't think that is really a problem for what you have.He objects to being handled anyway!
There is a use by date, it isn't until May of next year, but it also says: "To be used within 3 months of opening". It think it must be over three months, since I opened it.
I think it should be ok if it's still in date. It would have had a cap or lid on it so not exposed to the air. If anything it would only have lost some of its strength, so should be ok until you get the new tub/eHe objects to being handled anyway!

There's quite a bit of argy bargy between them. Just like pairs of torts! Here the prescription only lasts a year. So it's better to have one for backup. Get it while you can.Yes, but haven't gone to the pharmacy yet. I wonder if the one from last year is still fine to use.
I enjoy the baby toads that like to hang out with Sapphire in his outdoor enclosure every year. He gets about 1 smart baby toad a year. It's the safest place for a little baby. They're so cuteGood morning/afternoon all. I hope everyone is well and that the weather is improving for Cathie and Jeff.
The weather here is still dry and sunny, but we could really do with some rain now to help dampen the wildfires and for the wildlife. I don't think there's any expected until at least next week.Lola is loving it though.
I now have 2 hedgehogs visiting my garden.
The one on the left is quite dominant and doesn't like sharing.
This screenshot is taken just before he really barged the other to try to get him to leave the water bowl. View attachment 389477 There's quite a bit of argy bargy between them. Just like pairs of torts!
I love filming my garden through the night. A few nights ago I saw a wood mouse swimming across a large water saucer as if he was in his own private pool.

We can get milder ones with less cortisone without a prescription, but they are only sold in pharmacies. Here the prescription only lasts a year. So it's better to have one for backup. Get it while you can.
