Good morning everyone!

Does anyone know if Ray had anymore tortoises turning up in his garden when I was away in Oxford last week? Below is a picture of the Jersey Tiger Moth caterpillar:View attachment 393853
Aw - he's probably trying some nice leaf litter to pupate in - the caterpillar not Ray. 😏

Hum, makes me wonder how Opo is gonna be able to support all these kids..... :tort: :tort: :tort:
LOL, I heard a woman this morning on You Tube complaining: "I got about six kids"

Really hon, ABOUT??

I'm not saying a word on the number of hatchlings that may or may not have been found to exist in Florida, on the land owned by Ray and his wife....

We're in South Carolina for a funeral tomorrow....taken 2 days to drive 540 miles because Kerry's Dad is 95 in 3 weeks and my wife is batsh*t crazy. Remind me not to do this again.
On the upside, we went to the British Bulldog pub for lunch and do you know what they had? THC beer....called " hi variety". No, I did not imbibe but I should have asked for a 6 pack!
Lol
Glad you finally got home Ray....
So how many babies have been found it total now??
Only 2 baby tortoises, If there were others, they probably headed for the woods behind the house.
Glad you survived the trip.

Oh dear, what a disappointment 😞

My neighbours have been away all week and it's been lovely. I think they are due back tonight and I can already feel my anxiety levels rising.

Last weekend I was balancing on top of my step ladders cutting back my tree next to their fence and as I lowered my long reach pruner it knocked one of the solar lights they have along the top of their fence and broke it. I could have kicked myself.
It looks as if it was broken and glued before, but anyway I managed to replace it with a new one. My dilemma now is do I tell them or not?
I don't think they can complain too much as I replaced it with exactly the same light, but as they aren't usually reasonable I'm sure they'll have something to say.
They will never notice. If you tell them, if another light gets broken. You will to blame.

Neighbours are home and disecting how I could possibly have broken their light, instead of thanking their lucky stars I replaced it and had the decency to own up to it.
He is complaining about the 3 little twigs and a few leaves that I couldn't stop from dropping over their fence ( or 'her sh*t' as he delicately puts it). Can't win - they complain if the tree gets too tall and complain when I cut it!
Angie and Natrah were right - I should have said nothing, then they wouldn't have noticed - perhaps honesty isn't always the best policy.
Ok @jeff kushner , time for us to make a trip to Lyn's. We need to deal with her neighbors. 💪🦾

We stopped in Kentucky for a night on our way home.
I bought a few bottles of bourbon for some friends. There were a few times I wanted to crack open a bottle.. During the trip home.😅

It has been sunny most days recently, and Zola has been able to have long walks along the breakwater by the sea at Bude- he really loves it.
His dad guards him carefully, in case any dogs appear, but Zola never seems to want to stop !

Hassle you could well do without. I'd love to have solar panels installed on my roof, but it's such a minefield finding a reputable and reliable company over here. I hope you manage to sort it out soon.
Well, I had thought I did my due diligence. SunPower WAS a very reputable company, they Manufactured and later Installed systems. My first system back in 2007 was a SunPower Panels & inverter system.
