Dear Lyn,

I've decided to go back to wearing a mask because this strain of flu.

Natrah
I was supposed to go the Xmas concert at the special needs school where I worked on the 18th, but they had to cancel it a few days before because they had so many pupils and staff off sick with flu like symptoms. Such a shame as they start rehearsals for that back in October. 😞

Good afternoon everyone!

Chipped tooth has more filling.

Natrah
I had to go back to the dentist last week as the tooth I had my last filling in has become really sensitive. I thought I'd cracked it but X-ray didn't pick up on any reasons for it, so just have to wait and see if it's pulpitas or if it's dying. The dentist prescribed some really strong fluoride toothpaste to try to calm it down.
Thankfully it's not constant 🤞🙏

I wonder if I have caught it. I have been sick since Tuesday, with a fever, muscle aches, a sore throat etc. Thankfully I have some relatives nearby that were able to bring me some food and medicine yesterday from the pharmacy and the grocery store.
Hope you made a quick recovery in time for Xmas. Take care

PeeWee Has been Sleeping for the last couple of weeks, He did come out on a warmer day for a few hours.
I need to replace the battery (2032) in Seymour's tracker, as it's volume is so low, I can barely hear it with background noise present. Then He will be able to wander the yard till it's time to come in, in the evening
So, a couple of days ago, I peeled the tracker Off Of Seymour, the Battery had completely gone dead. Opened it up and replaced the battery, had not gt around to reinstalling it on his back side and Tuesday, I was looking for him, and he wasn't around. Got my good flashlight out and searched the house, to NO avail. No sign of Seymour. I think he might have made a run for the border when I had the side door open for the geese to come in. It was open for 15 to 20 min, unattended. I think that booger snuck out to the back yard. It has been chilly and last 2 days really rainy. I'm a lil worried about him. Did a cursory look for him, but since it's cold, he is hunkered down somewhere. He won't come out till it warms up for 1/2 a day.

My little darling bunny died this morning at 4:30 am. Razberri made it to 9 years 45 days though I was preparing for it because of her age. It's hard but I know she had a happy life and probably died of old age. She seemed absolutely normal until she came beside my bed. And went to sleep.
Aw Cathie, I am so sorry to read this. I have enjoyed your stories about Razberri's antics. She has had a wonderful life and been well loved. RIP Razberri ❤️

I do hope you find him soon, its such a worry when they disappear. Try the cucumber or strawberry under the colander trick in areas you think he could be .

Dear Marsha,

I would check and make sure that he's not with PeeWee.

Natrah,
Yes, He does have a way of homing in on PeeWee, I almost get to the point where I think he likes PeeWee's attention/company. But there are others here that would disagree with that thought.

It has been so nasty here the last 6 weeks (at least for the SF Bay Area) 3 to 4 weeks of highs in the 50's (10c), lows in the 40's(4c) that it has been hard doing anything outside, then rain the last 4 or 5 days.

Fridays are a busy day for me, blowing out the patio, of dog hair and feathers, dust mop the house, then wash the floors (they get filthy with geese and duck coming in to eat,) Then draining, washing and refilling the goose/duck pond with rain water collected.
I
have a friend who is helping low income folks furnish their homes, who expressed interest in a Full, Memory foam mattress that was Penny's. She will come by this morning to look at it and possibly take it away, to help some one, which will make Me, and I'm sure Penny Happy that it will be used, rather than just tossed. It will be nice to get that big thing out of my home...

I'll do another cursory look around the yard, at Seymour's known hideaways spots. You would think it would be easy to spot something the size of a foot ball, but they sure can hide when they want to.
Bump my lil boxie got out several years back and wandered the yard for 5 months, until I heard some rustling in a pile of leaves, and Bam, there she was, Welcome back Bump!:tort:🥰

Have a great Evening, afternoon, day, morning, my friends...

No wonder they didn't want to leave! I'm so glad they've gone now and hope you've had a good Xmas Day, Natrah.
Dear Lyn,

It seems that when the taxi driver drove my friend home last night he remembered this address for all the wrong reasons. He said that one of the tenants kept calling the firm and they started to suspect drug-dealing and they banned the neighbour from calling their company after they were paid with a counterfeit £50 note!
