Was this direct from the breeder, or was there a reseller involved?
Is there any chance she might have been housed at any time with another species, or any tortoise with an unknown history?

A reseller was involved. It was with the same species as far as i know according to the photos I saw.

Six to twelve months? If you have the time and space, a year would be safest. Conservative, but safest.

@ZEROPILOT is familiar with Southern Reptiles and often recommends them. I'm curious as to his thoughts on quarantine period.

Southern REPTILES is fantastic.
I quarantine about 3 or 4 months.
But all of my new tortoises usually come from very nearby.
A tortoise from a totally different location would be longer.
My thinking is that tortoises living within a few miles of each other have likely been exposed to the same pathogens.
Texas and Florida are very different.
I'd quarantine for longer.
Especially if its something you can easily do.
