Okay I'm just going to mention this to get it off my mind. Earlier this year I stopped to move a box turtle off the road. I like to inspect them when I move them, usually, but this one creeped me out and I moved it and moved on. It seemed to have not been recently injured. Recently, being the important word. It moved fine, seemed ok, considering. It looked like someone or something had stepped on the left rear quarter of it. Neck and front legs area had extra flesh poking out of the shell. Really it looked like I imagine it would if its internals got pushed to the front due to a squish event. But it was like this had happened years ago.

Gah, that made me think of the ground hog I saw that had been hit by a car I don't know how long ago but somehow survived, though he was paralyzed from the waist down and had to drag himself everywhere by his front legs. It had happened so long ago that his back legs were shriveled from lack of use. I tried catching him to take him to a wildlife specialist I take the animals people call me about that are beyond my means to save to, but he must have been very used to having to walk like that because he was fast as a fully-able ground hog. He got away from me and I could never find him again, but the image of him running away from me with his back end just flopping around was seared into my brain.

When I was in middle school, I read the whole book of Stephen King's, "It". I remember thinking, "man if they ever make a movie of this, I really wonder what Pennywise the clown would look like. Well, not long after finishing the book the movie came out. I can tell you right now the image in my head wasn't even close to the movie! I still have nightmares over that stupid Clown. Moral of the story, no pictures please, lol!:)
