I...killed...it....? :(:(:(:( OK...now what? I will mist them once a week and not move them again. When should I candle them next to see if I can find a definate embryo? What do I do if/when they hatch? I would love to keep one (I have boxies...I know some people keep Woods with them?), but I don't think I can in my state :(

You can candle them once a week right before misting. :) You probably should let them go near the creek where the female was released. You can have a wood turtle in NJ, you just need to buy a CB animal out of state and apply for a permit to keep it.

Well...can I ship a baby to you and then buy it? Lol. I'll let them out, it's the best thing for them :) Really? It's a cedar water creek, and there are CST in it. Would they be safe?
