Hello,
Its just a quick question, and I have searched for similar posts in the forum (and there a lot),
So I just want to make sure that I do not take wrong steps or conclusions.

I just got a surgery and had to stay in hospital for few days, so I got a realitves taking care of the little Sulcata. When I went home I found the little Sulcata got quite a cloudy eye (third eye lids not opening completely). Should I apply terramycin? Or follow Tom's guide on Raising sulcata be enough?

Note:
I asked my relatives and he mentioned three things
1. He found some cococoir near the eyes & head multiple times,
2. He took it outside to the field/garden for a direct sunshine & grazing
3. He recently changed the substrate to orchid bark (fir tree) as he found cococoir was too messy for him

Thank you so much in advance.

The eye looks fine to me. Be sure you are using the correct lighting, and that your temperatures are correct.

Eye issues are typically caused by:
1. Foreign body in the eye like sand or debris of some sort. Coco coir shouldn't cause a problem, but if it was dry and dusty it could.
2. Dry dusty conditions.
3. Wrong lighting.
4. Low temps.

Orchid bark generally works better than coir for this species, but be sure it is properly damp.

What was the temperature in the field or garden? How long was he out? Any pesticides or other chemicals out there?
