My enclosure is 8x4x4, what is the best fogger out there to keep it humnid in her enclosure? I have seen some DIY for rather large ones, but thinking maybe any of the regular ones will be finbe?
What they said... Humidity should be maintained by reducing ventilation. Foggers should not be blowing directly into a tortoise enclosure. They are fine to use in the room because those little micro droplets will evaporate and turn into humidity. My enclosure is 8x4x4, what is the best fogger out there to keep it humnid in her enclosure? We also have an 8*4*4 enclosure, and the humidity remains above 90% without a fogger or misting system. I just use a pump sprayer to lightly water plants and substrate (3x/week).My enclosure is 8x4x4, what is the best fogger out there to keep it humnid in her enclosure? The white hose was from her old fogger machine, it hasn't been used in over a year mainly because it broke. Also any input on what all I should put in ther so she isnt so bored, Im getting some ferns and other plants soonI wouldn’t recommend using a fogger, they can indeed cause respiratory problems. If wanting to maintain a higher humidity, the only way to do so is making it a closed chamber. What kind of tortoise is this for? Could we see the enclosure in question?
A couple of hide boxes would be nice and some hanging plants. I use hanging plants to save floor space for walking. The white hose was from her old fogger machine, it hasn't been used in over a year mainly because it broke.
