Fridge hibernation

How often do you all check on your tortoise in the fridge daily weekly or not at all?
How often do I need to open the door to let and in?

My tort isn't a hibernating species so I don't know anything about hibernation other than torts must not have food for a while before so that it doesn't rot in their gut, but you may find this thread useful and there is a link in one of the posts to another thread which Tom recommends.
