Only a little bit, it is a treat. How old is your hermanns? I cut mine into to small pieces and give it raw. No seeds if they are young and small, though you could grind up the seeds and feed that too. It's good to keep worm count/parasites down/away.

I give my two chunks of raw pumpkin as a treat, they love it! I freeze the rest to be able to have some in the off season.

It can be cooked or fed raw. You can chunk it, dice it, shred it, or blend it. You can feed it fresh or thawed after freezing.
