I would also like to add that I was not aware that they were different subspecies...apparently I can't read

Nelson has two siblings that hatched on/near the same date as him, and in early pictures they always looked smaller than him.
I didn't know that hatchlings could vary in size so much, as your pic shows Paul.

Genetics says otherwise. Remember there are northern populations that get just as large as southern populations.

My pardalis are growing nearly 4x as fast as the babcocks, I'll bet you $1.99 that it's a subspecies thing.

Genetics says otherwise. Remember there are northern populations that get just as large as southern populations.

These two hatchlings just hatched 2 days ago and have been in the incubator absorbing yolk sacks. I took them out today to soak them for the first time when I noticed their extreme size difference and thought, that big one must be Bullying that little one. Learn something everyday.

Egg 1 to Egg 2: "When we get out of here, I'm gonna kick your a**."
