Here's the upside-down pic.
YvonneG, I turned that water thing into a feed bowl and I replaced it with a BIG thing you place under plants. (I don't what you call it....) That was when we first placed it, and it was the left over water when we picked them up. Sorry :(

she is adorable :) there's hardly any pyramiding considering the size of the tort and all seems perfectly natural :) seems like female to me due to the short tail.... and flat plastron.....

Cute tort! I wouldn't concern yourself with the pyramiding since that slight amount is merely cosmetic. My Rosie has some slight pyramiding as well but she had it already when we got her.

Looks like female to me too, although I'm no expert.
