Hello,
I received 2 leos app. a month ago and I have completely fallen in love with them. I have been reading a lot about them and I got completely obsessed with the issue of pyramiding. I can easily deal with the food issue, the UVB light is not a problem, but creating a humidity chamber on an open table was a challenge. I think have finally found a solution.
I have a heated pad on the bottom of the cage, on top I have wet spagnum moss (I add warm water to it in the morning) and I have added a radiated heat panel on top. I have also added vineleaves on the sides (which normally hang down to the ground) but for the sake of the picture I have pulled them up a little. The temp is constant at 96 degrees and the humidity is 100%. The torts love it in there.
The humid hide is on the top right of the picture (the mezzanine).
