I have two adult Russian tortoises and two baby Sulcatas along with other reptiles. I let my tortoises outside today and put the Russians in their pen. I noticed there was some natural morning glory. Not thinking if it was safe or not i just let them eat it. Only my female ate it and the male didn't care for it. I looked it up to see if it was safe and got mixed answers. Some said it was bad some said it was ok. Its apparently toxic to mammals and tortoises can detoxify it and its safe. Should i let them continue to eat it? its her first time eating it and she likes it. What should i do?

Morning Glory gets used for several genera of plants. Take a look at Google or wikipedia So what you have may not be of concern.

A photo of the plant will help us.
