Two days ago we introduced Tank into our family.
The guy who sold him to us is the same person that we got Sweetie Belle from and he said that Tank is almost a month old.
My question is how long until his shell is supposed to get firmer?
When we got Sweetie her shell was already pretty firm.
I really hope there isn't anything wrong with him. He eats fine and is very active.
Also, the guy told us we should be keeping him at temps of 105 and above. This didn't sound right to me so we are keeping him around the 90s and making sure he is well hydrated. Is this right for a tortoise his age?
(Also, we are assuming Tank is a male based on the incubation sexing that the breeder did.)

the info is not correct. Please read the threads at the bottom of my post. Follow them and if he had a good start from the breeder, you should be able to raise a happy, healthy, smooth sulcata.
