These two guys came out small and round, after 116 and 117 days. I only have 3 eggs left to go from the first clutch now. They are so darn small! It is fun to watch them develop a personality as they start interacting with each other.

You are getting to enjoy first hand one of the most amazing aspects of tortoise ownership. The promise of young new life is just so uplifting and incredible. All those active perfect little babies milling about doing their thing... There just aren't words to describe it.

And 8 out of 11 for a first clutch is really good. Even if no more hatch, that is still excellent.
