I'm getting a hatchling in the next month so I'm trying to get everything perfect before his/her arrival! What do you recommend to feed my leopard tortoise hatchling?

I grow several types of grass, clover and weeds for my hatchlings. If you look in the leoprd section there are several threads on care to read.

You should feed as many different things as you can. I'll post a list of suggestions at the end of this post. Be aware that your breeder might not have introduced all this stuff early on, so find out what your tortoise is used to eating and offer that at first, while slowly introducing small amount of the new stuff.

List of good stuff:
Mulberry leaves
Grape vine leaves
Hibiscus leaves
African hibiscus leaves
Blue hibiscus leaves
Rose of Sharon leaves
Rose leaves
Geraniums
Gazanias
Lavatera
Pansies
Petunias
Hostas
Honeysuckle
Cape honeysuckle
Leaves and blooms from any squash plant, like pumpkin, cucumber, summer squash, etc...
Young spineless opuntia cactus pads

Weeds:
There are soooooooo many...
Dandelion
Mallow
Filaree
Smooth Sow thistle
Prickly Sow thistle
Milk thistle
Goat head weed
Cats ear
Nettles
Trefoil
Wild onion
Wild mustard
Wild Garlic
Clovers
Broadleaf plantain
Narrow leaf plantain
Chick weed
Hawksbit
Hensbit
Hawksbeard

Other good stuff:
"Testudo Seed Mix" from http://www.tortoisesupply.com/SeedMixes
Pasture mixes or other seeds from http://www.groworganic.com/seeds.html
Homegrown alfalfa
Mazuri Tortoise Chow
ZooMed Grassland Tortoise Food

In the wild, leopards also eat a lot of succulents, so look into Jade plant, ice plant, red apple, and a few varieties of spineless opuntia cactus pads to grow.
