light colored yellowfoot

1574306.jpg 1574306.jpg 1574306.jpg Has anybody ever seen a light colored yellowfoot like this? Just got her. Almost 9in and 3lbs. Is she. Big enough to breed? I'm looking for a male.

Nice coloration and very healthy looking girl!
I wouldn't rush to find a male. She's still too young to breed.
Also I had a male RF about that size that one summer transformed......Into a female.
At that size, it's also hard to determine the sex.

That weight seems a bit on the light side for the length of the tortoise.

Don't be in too much of a hurry to have her lay eggs. I had one about that same size and she because egg bound because she wasn't quite big enough to get the eggs out. Let her get up to her full size before you worry about breeding.

11-12" straight length is fine for a yellowfoot. This will be in a few years though, they don't tend to grow at expedited rates like red foots. Nice looking animal for sure.
