My another little star is healthy except always have worms, deworm is done for few times by vet. Today, she tried to defecate very hard. I pick her up and see a large stone obstruct in the anus. I think that she is very painful because she jump like the rabbit. Luckly, she passed a big stone but the anus is swelling. Waiting to see vet today.
I felt very sad because two little star had the same problem.

How often are you soaking them? What's their diet like?
I soak them twice daily for 15 minutes. Recently, still soak them twice daily but extend the time to 45 minutes.
I ptovided hay grass, vegetables and mazuri daily.

In all honesty, it is starting to sound like diet/husbandry issues.

Star tortoises do better with a herbivore diet, not vegetarian. basically leaves and flowers of various plants. what country are you in?

Dandelions and other varieties like chicory are very fibrous and may help your torts pass their stools easier.
I'm sorry this is happening to you and your torts :(

The diet should be mainly leafy greens. Grass hay is more for bigger larger tortoises. Mazuri is not something to be fed every day in my opinion. I only feed it once or twice a week.
